The Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) provides a way for you to evaluate the educational performance of the District and of each campus in relation to other schools in Texas.

Rockwall's Accountability Rating increased from Acceptable to Recognized for the 2005-2006 school year. We’re proud of our performance, and are constantly striving to improve all aspects of education.

The Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) provides a way for the public to evaluate the educational performance of the District and of each campus in relation to the other schools in the state of Texas. Indicators evaluated in the ratings include Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores, attendance and dropout rates, and other factors. The four possible accreditation/accountability ratings assigned to schools by the Texas Education Agency are: Exemplary, Recognized, Acceptable, or Unacceptable. Few schools are designated Exemplary by the state.

Among the fifteen schools rated by the Academic Excellence Indicator System Report, six Rockwall schools were rated Exemplary, five were Recognized, and four were rated Academically Acceptable. None were rated Unacceptable. All of Rockwall's schools exceed state standards. The District's goal is to achieve Exemplary status.
